Voted Best Place to Work in Product Marketing in 2021 by the Product Marketing Alliance, Unbounce is looking for an experienced, creative leader to take on the role of Director of Product Marketing as Unbounce's builds a new category called Conversion Intelligence. 


As head of Product Marketing, you will lead a team of specialist and generalist PMMs of all levels, and play an integral role  in designing the go-to-market strategy and processes for all our evolving product lines and legacy products. 


Positioned within the Strategic Growth department, reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer, the Director of Product Marketing is responsible for building collaborative internal relationships, designing and communicating long-and-short term go-to-market vision (including segmentation, positioning and monetization), leading strategic opportunity discovery, guiding our category creation efforts, and coaching a team of world-class PMMs. 





Job responsibilities:  

  • Organizational alignment
    • Champion the Conversion Intelligence go-to-market strategy across the organization, engaging key stakeholders to ensure alignment, understanding and collaboration
    • Build strong relationships with leaders across the organization, including those in Customer Marketing, Product Management, Marketing and Customer Success
    • Lead internal enablement for our Conversion Intelligence go-to-market, keeping all teams at Unbounce up to date and informed while empowering them to own their piece of the strategy
  • Team Development
    • Develop and lead a product marketing team that can support both the necessary product portfolios and other business needs such as competitive, monetization and segmentation
    • Increase the data literacy of all product marketers, coaching your team to build strong business cases, product adoption forecasts and back-of-envelope models
  • Platform go-to-market strategy
    • Connect all product portfolios into one cohesive go-to-market strategy that links incremental launches into new value for customers
    • Lead the evolution of Unbounce from a point solution to a Conversion Intelligence Platform
    • Work closely with product management to translate customer and market research into business cases for product opportunities
  • Product positioning, messaging and naming
    • Own the development of differentiated value propositions at the company, product and feature level
    • Develop a cohesive naming framework for existing and net new Conversion Intelligence features 
    • Lead cross-functional narrative design efforts to support category creation
  • Market sizing and segmentation
    • Be the expert on our market and our customers. Understand existing and net new market opportunities, and distill this knowledge into growth-focused strategy
    • Champion a healthy mindset to competitive intelligence across the organization, and provide thoughtful, action-oriented insights on competitor and market movement and trends
  • Pricing and packaging
    •  Develop a comprehensive value-focused monetization strategy for Conversion Intelligence, including feature gating, expansion, offers and data products
    • Lead an experimental and iterative approach to pricing optimization


Job requirements:  


  • 5+ years in Product Marketing, preferably for a platform product or ecosystem 
  • Previous experience managing and growing a team of product marketers
  • Experience in a SaaS B2B company, preferably with an SMB customer base
  • Demonstrated ability to build company-wide go-to-market strategy that combines multiple product lines
  • People-first attitude; focused on building relationships, a great work environment, and customer-empathy 
  • High level of influence and persuasion
  • Future-focused with the ability to build and communicate a compelling vision—not afraid to take some risks 
  • Masterful at simplifying and communicating complex concepts or technical details
