This role is responsible for creating a robust analytics strategy and delivering insights to stakeholders across the entire company.

The Marketing Analyst will deliver data-driven insights and recommendations across all levels of the acquisition funnel, with a focus on omni-channel performance and optimization. You will have the opportunity to develop complex measurement strategies and continuously refine the ways we define success. You will have ownership over our entire marketing analytics stack, and work closely with counterparts in Revenue Ops and Data to wrangle data from all across the org

A Little Bit About You:

  • You have deep theoretical and practical understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices and - most importantly - how to measure them
  • You’re a systems thinker and data nerd - you understand how data, tools, and business objectives intersect, and you love being the one to put it all together
  • You’re a data storyteller, proficient with a variety of data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Google Data Studio
  • You have exceptional communication skills and are a delight to work with. You can thrive in a hybrid remote workplace
  • You have great time management skills and can scope and deliver a project from start to finish
  • You have experience in the B2B SaaS technology and/or startup environment
  • You’re constantly learning and stay up to date on industry trends and best practices
  • You have 5+ years experience with Google Analytics reporting and implementation
  • You have 3+ years experience working in a data, analytics or operations position
  • You have experience with Google Tag Manager or Segment
  • You have basic knowledge of HTML and Javascript for web analytics implementation
  • SQL or Python experience is a plus

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintain existing and build new analytics frameworks to pull together a holistic view of the customer journey
  • Ownership of new channel innovation by using customer data and key industry trends to guide the team’s focus and prioritize new channels to test
  • Perform regular analysis to identify trends, provide insights and recommendations, and drive data influenced decisions
  • Create and maintain reporting and dashboards that support marketing initiatives. Provide ad hoc analysis and deep-dives on individual campaigns or initiatives, complete with strategic and tactical recommendations
  • Bring together data from multiple sources (including external agencies and contractors) to report on overall campaign and channel performance
  • Continuously refine marketing metrics and KPIs, and develop methods for forecasting and target-setting
  • Own and maintain the Google Analytics instance. Develop new and existing Properties, Views, Goals and Events
  • Own and maintain the Google Tag Manager container. Work with the web teams to maintain a scalable and reliable analytics implementation
  • Ensure data flows accurately between marketing tools, CRMs, and data warehouse by working closely with Revenue Operations and Data
